What to Expect:

If you enjoy comeraderie with fellow campers and the welcoming touch of a family owned and operated camp, then you are at the right place!  However, if you prefer modern amenities, seclusion, ease of camp set-up, or a true nature experience, we recommend finding other accomodations.  Sylvan Harbor is rustic and very densely populated in the summer months.  Sites are narrow, have little to no privacy or shade, and are challenging to back into. 

Stays:

·        Tenants and guests must check in at the office upon arrival.

·        Maximum occupancy per site is four (4).

·        A minimum deposit of at least 20% is due in advance for all stays.

Camp Etiquette:

·        Please treat others as you would like to be treated. 

·        Please observe quiet hours from 9pm to 9am.

·        Please clean up after yourself thoroughly at all facilities.

·        Please extinguish fires completely when leaving tent sites.

·        Tenants and guests may walk only in developed public roads and paths. 

·        Smoking is prohibited inside or within 100 feet of facilities and other RVs.

·        Illegal drug use is prohibited.

·        Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs / drones) are prohibited.

·        Roads are emergency lanes and shall not be used for activities without approval.

·        Tenants may not run a generator unless the electricity is out or for maintenance.

·        Please do not pick flowers, berries, or other foliage without permission.

Children:

·        Children should be supervised by an adult tenant or guest at all times.

·        Children are not allowed to play in the creek and forested areas.

·        Climbing is not allowed on rocks, trees, trunks, stumps, roofs, RVs or structures.

Sites:

·        Any item which creates a threat to health and safety is not permitted in any site. 

·        Wood fires are only allowed in designated fire pits in tent sites.

·        Please do not physically alter sites.

·        Each site and its facilities are the property of the owners of Sylvan Harbor.

RVs:

·        At least one tenant must be the registered owner of the RV.

·        RVs must be currently registered and insured.

·        RVs must be in good condition, with no outer physical damage.

Vehicles:

·        Speed limit is 5 mph.

·        Maximum of two (2) vehicles per site are allowed.  Please ask about where to park.

·        Do not park on or drive over green septic tank lids.

·        Do not park in vacant sites.

·        Bicycling is allowed only on roads and within the speed limit.

Pets:

·        Maximum of two (2) pets per site.  A pet is defined as a domesticated bird, cat, or dog.

·        Pets must always be on a leash and under control when outside the RV.

·        No dangerous and aggressive breeds are allowed.  Please inquire.

·        Aggressiveness and barking of pets is prohibited.

·        Please bag all pet waste and dispose of it in trash & recycling shed or pet stations.

Waste:

·        Do not place trash or recycling in the dumpsters.

·        Please use the trash & recycling shed on the main road to dispose of only household waste.

·        Flushing non-biodegradable, foreign objects down RV sewer drains or public restrooms is prohibited.

Fish Cleaning:

·        Use only designated fish cleaning tables to clean fish and crab.

·        Please place all fish and crab remains in green waste containers provided and firmly seal with a lid.

·        Never dump fish or crab remains down sewers, drains, or in the open.
